About the Department: English is the compulsory subject in the curriculum of Higher Secondary and Degree stages. The Deptt. of English had started its function with the inception of the institution in the year 1963, having only two teachers in the Department. The college obtained permission to start Honors classes of English in degree level in the session 1994-95. The present strength of faculty members in the Department is four and they are engaged in the taking classes for both Arts & Science stream of the college.
