The Department of Banking & Finance of SBMS College is a newly established Department under the Faculty of Commerce. The Department has been operational since 1st June, 2023. The Department has been initiated with 2 faculty members, namely Dr. Siddharth Nayan Sharma and Mr. Madhurjya Patir.
The Department of Banking & Finance currently offers higher secondary course and undergraduate degrees in Indian Financial System, Banking, Fundamentals of Financial Management, Financial Market Operation, Insurance, Treasury & Risk Management and related subjects.
