The Women Cell was framed by SBMS College following the recommendations by The United Nations Committee on the elimination of discrimination against women. It has conducted a workshop-cum-sensitization programme on the issue of sexual harassment at workplace. As per the guidelines of Honourable Supreme Court & UGC, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act 2013, an Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell was constituted with a view to provide healthy and congenial atmosphere to all the students and staff members.
